About Key & Porch

Key & Porch is a directory of every short-term rental in Fargo-Moorhead, built by a local host.

The big booking platforms show you what pays them. We list every place we can find, sort by what matters for your trip (the neighborhood, how many it sleeps, how far it is from where you are going), and point you to the host.

Every listing has a request form. Send your dates and we ask the host about booking you direct, which skips the platform guest fee, typically 12% or more of the stay. Hosts who have claimed their page take bookings here directly. For the rest, we also link to their listing so you can see photos and availability there.

How we build the listings

• Listing facts (bedrooms, beds, baths, guests, amenities) and ratings are recorded by hand from each public listing, with the date we recorded them.
• Descriptions on unclaimed pages are our own, written from those facts. We do not copy hosts' text or photos.
• Map pins show the neighborhood, not the address. Distances are straight-line miles.
• Hosts who claim a page control its text, photos and booking options.
